Comment:BLIZZARD WARNINGS.....SNOW DRIFTS BLOCKING ROADS....Yes folks winter has come to eastern Washington in a big way. All the schools are closed and now their starting to close some major highways that connect the Spokane area to Seattle and we're just getting started. The temps are expected to drop down to -18 or worse tonight. The weather forecaster are advising everyone to stay home unless they absolutely have to travel and last night SEA-TAC airport in Seattle was closed due to planes sliding off the runway. BOY-HOWDY---we're havin us an old fashioned winter complete with frozen pipes and downed power lines, you gotta love it and so much for global warming hitting Washington state this winter. Its easy for me to joke about this because I am safe and warm with a kitchen stocked with all we need and I must say its rather nice to watch the snow falling sideways because the winds are so high but my heart goes out to so many familys that can't afford oil or fuel for their heating purposes and Spokane is no different than most other states we have our share of unemployment and so many familys that just can't afford to heat their homes. I also want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving and I pray you all have a wonderful meal to eat and that you have a warm place to live but most of all I wish that you all have someone to share this holiday with because it really doesn't matter what you have to eat on Thanksgiving as long as you can share it with someone who loves you and you love them. Blessings to all. love sheshe030
